What is spermidine?
Spermidine is a naturally occurring compound found in every cell and in foods like wheat germ, soybeans, mushrooms and aged cheese. It's involved in cell growth and renewal, and research links it to autophagy, the process your cells use to clear out and recycle worn-out parts. Our formula is gluten-free.
What other ingredients did you add, and why?
Alongside 10mg of spermidine, each capsule contains L-arginine (200mg), an amino acid; Bifidobacterium animalis lactis LKM512 (1 billion CFU), a probiotic strain; and zinc citrate (8mg). Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, hair and nails. Together they're chosen to support the same renewal process as spermidine.
